Who is SiteGear for?

Web designers, agencies, entrepreneurs and SaaS founders who want to offer website building as a service to multiple clients under their own brand.

Is SiteGear self-hosted?

▾

Yes. SiteGear is a PHP application you install on your own hosting. You own all the data and the platform. We recommend Hostinger, SiteGround or any PHP 8.1+ host.

How does the AI generator work?

▾

It uses GPT-4o to generate a complete website structure — pages, blocks, content — from a business name and industry. Takes about 30 seconds. Requires an OpenAI API key configured in admin settings.

Can tenants have custom domains?

▾

Yes. Tenants on qualifying plans can connect their own domain. They add a CNAME record and you approve it in the admin panel. Full instructions are provided.

Payments & Billing

What payment gateways are supported?

▾

19 online gateways: Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Flutterwave, Paystack, Instamojo, PayTM, PhonePe, Yoco, Mercado Pago, ToyyibPay, Iyzico, Midtrans, Perfect Money and more. Plus unlimited offline/bank transfer gateways.

Do you take a transaction fee?

No. We charge a flat monthly/yearly fee. We don't take any percentage of your tenant transactions.

Can I offer refunds to my tenants?

▾

Yes. You can cancel and refund subscriptions from the admin panel. The refund is processed through whichever gateway the tenant paid with.

Technical

What are the hosting requirements?

▾

PHP 8.1+, MySQL 5.7+, PDO MySQL extension, cURL, mbstring, json, OpenSSL. Any shared or VPS hosting works. Hostinger, SiteGround and DigitalOcean are tested and recommended.

How do I set up wildcard subdomains?

▾

Add a wildcard DNS record (*.yourdomain.com) in your hosting panel pointing to your server IP and project folder. The installer guides you through this with step-by-step instructions.

Can I white-label the platform?

▾

Yes. The Agency plan includes full white-label mode — remove all SiteGear branding and use your own brand name, logo and colors throughout the platform.
